Workers all around the country have planned days-out for the extra day off to celebrate the Royal Wedding. An events company in Glasgow has planned celebrations the week prior with its ‘Royal Hen-Doo’ – aright royal mix of pamper treatments, afternoon tea, a party and even a sit-down dinner – all included in one ticket for just £30!

The event sees top bar The Corinthian and new club Chambre69 join forces for a day and night to remember, with spa treatments, champagne, chocolates, High Tea, dinner, dancing and more!

Limited tickets are available from 5pm website here.

GUM has been talking to the event’s organiser Louise who has given the following details:

On Saturday 23rd April 2011, ladies will come dressed in their best and enjoy a sit down brunch of Hand-cut sandwiches, cupcakes tea and coffee at Glasgow’s most exclusive venue, The Corinthian club. And that is just for starters. Afterwards ladies will be asked to make the short journey to Chambre69, a boutique basement club in the heart of buchanan street for their very own private party. (Chambre69 is not yet opened to the public)

Once at Chambre69 the ladies will be treated like Royalty. They will be greeted with a glass of bubbly and homemade chocolates – sponsored by Miss Coco, before being asked to take advantage of the many spa treatments we will have on offer. To top it off we also have live music by the solo artist Elaine Millar and her accompanying band, Keeper. salsa, our very own DJ and a Royal dinner. If that is not enough, ladies will spend the evening back at The Corinthian with access to their very own private bar. Now, who can say Glasgow doesn’t know how to thrown a good party?

Event organiser Louise says; ‘The event idea came to me when I realised that nowhere else in Scotland has attempted to or been successful in organising an event for this occasion. I also know how much Glasgow ladies love to party and I thought what better excuse than a wedding to throw one heck of a doo. I am certainly having a lot of fun putting this event together and it is amazing to see all the hype that has come with it. The ladies are so excited.’

It all sounds lovely – doesn’t it? For a girls’ day out fit for a princess, look no further.  RSVP to the Facebook event here.

With Thanks to Louise from The Royal HenDoo. Look out for our review coming soon.
