Event Recommendations for the Week

Blondie @ The SSE Hydro

14/11/2017 — 18:00 to 23:00 — £48.25/£53.90

Yes you read right — flippin’ Blondie. Back in the 70s and 80s they produced some unbelievable hits, such as ‘Call Me’, ‘Hanging On The Telephone’, and other songs not related to phones like ‘Atomic’. Some say all of the hits are powered directly by front woman Debbie Harry’s big blonde hair. This may or may not be fictitious. Tickets are a little steep, but come on… it’s heckin’ Blondie!

ALGORHYTHM 002: LK @ La Cheetah Club

15/11/2017 — 23:00 to 03:00 — £5 OTD before midnight

What a funky name ey… For his second party, resident KEO (who is a big fan of his caps lock by the look of things), has secured a doozy of a booking in the form of Shall Not Fade’s LK. I would expect nothing less that the deepest cuts of jazzy house and dazzling disco. Ooooh-weeee this will be funky! La Cheetah is a lovely little club with a bone-shaker of a sound system and ALGORHYTHM is shaping up to be one of the better nights in Glasgow, so make sure you get on it early so you can be that person who says, “Oh yeah I went before it was cool.”. If we’re lucky KEO will bring his caps lock key with him.
